Liebherr’s new 173tonne LB 44-510 rotary drilling rig offers 510kNm of torque, while the model’s in-house manufactured hydraulic drive provides automated torque adjustment, optimal continuous speed and four electronically adjustable speed ranges. The model has a five-section boom, with the last two sections made of CIFA’s innovative light and resistant Carbotech composite material, allowing it to be mounted on smaller trucks.
