MRL’s Mini Mac road marker stands up to the maxi jobs

MRL Equipment Company says its Mini Mac series of ride-on, self-propelled road marking machines is a highly manoeuvrable thermoplastic application unit. The Mini Mac is designed to increase production when applying markings for intersections, symbols or lane lines, according to MRL, based in the northern US state of Montana.

Rondino, based in Savigneux, northeastern France, has developed a new range of guardrails - the GRP guardrail. Rondino claims it is the first wood and steel guardrail in the world with such high performance values. The aesthetically pleasing guardrail is CE certified according EN1317, N2 level from W2 to W5.

In the Canadian Rocky Mountains, there was a window of opportunity of only several days before these excavators had to be out of the Kananaskis River ahead of nearby Barrier Dam releasing its water. The provincial Alberta Whitewater Association hired local contractor Foran Equipment to bring in their equipment in to re-work the riverbed after severe flooding in June 2013 washed out the kayaking courses.

Matest subsidiary Pavetest launched its new thermal stress restrained specimen test (TSRST) machine, the TSRST-Multi, at bauma. Designed for tests set down in the AASHTO TP10-93 and EN 12697-46 standards, the machine can test three specimens simultaneously inside a temperature-controlled cabinet which can vary in increments of 10 degrees between - 40 and +40 degrees C. “We decided to come up with a flexible approach where each station can test statically or dynamically. Indeco has redesigned its multiprocessor, giving it a more robust body, increasing the size of the jaw opening and improving the geometries of the various jaws.
