Globally renowned Austrian formwork company Doka has almost tripled its sales revenue in the last 12 years and is aiming for greater success in 2013, according to Group chairman Josef Kurzmann. Kurzmann said the firm recorded sales revenue of €853million in 2012, compared to €326million in 2000. Additionally, the percentage of non-European sales revenue accrued by Doka had increased from 6% in 2000 to 42% in 2012. Skako Concrete has – literally – unveiled its new Rotoconix mixer after keeping the new model under cover until 11am on the first day of bauma. The Rotoconix is designed for quick batching cycles, fast discharge and uniform mixing no matter the batch size. The mixer has three key parts, all of which are reversible. It combines a rotating cone a high-speed ‘turbo whirler’ and a screw.

Lino Sella World, the Italian concrete and mortar mixer manufacturer celebrating its 50th trading anniversary during 2013, exports worldwide while maintaining a strong Italian market presence. With a wide range of 140 to 500litre capacity mixers, Lino Sella World also produces hydraulic mixers with capacities from 520 up to 1500litres. The firm says all its machines are robust and made to a high standard with quality materials.

Among a host of updated machinery at bauma, Sennebogen has unveiled the 655HD duty cycle crawler crane for the dragline and foundation industries. The 55tonne E Series machine is powered by a 261kW Stage IIIB Caterpillar engine. Both of its 16tonne winches are driven by variable flow hydraulic motors and the machine is equipped with the firm’s SENCON monitoring and electronic control system.

Sennebogen has plugged the gap in its telescopic crawler crane range with the introduction of the 673R-HD. The 70tonne capacity machine sits between the firm’s 40 and 80tonne models, offering a 36m four-stage main boom with two fly booms of 8m and 15m. This gives a maximum reach of 51m. The 673R-HD is powered by a Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Interim standard Deutz engine delivering 160kW. JLG International has launched a new telehandler, the 250S. “We updated the machine in order to comply with the new emissions regulations,” said JLG marketing communications manager Xenia Kolijn. The telehandler has a Deutz engine and complies with Tier 4 final, said Kolijn.

Faresin Industries has expanded its telescopic handler range with the addition of the FH8.40 and the rotating Storm 22.45 evo. The FH8.40 sits in the range between the established FH7.45 and the FH9.30. The machine has a capacity of 4tonnes with a maximum lift height of 8m. Higher up the lifting scale, the Storm 22.45 rotating handler can manage up to 45tonne lifts, with a maximum height of 22m.

Models brought to bauma by Soilmec included two new multipurpose hydraulic crawler cranes for heavy-duty applications. Among key features of the SC-70 and SC-90 is a design that enables easy transport and set-up on site. The cranes are modular for fast conversion between a range of applications, such as use with a hydraulic or mechanical grab, hydromill, chisel, vibratory driver or clamshell.
