The six bauma Innovation Award 2013 winners have been revealed. Pipe Express, from Herrenknecht, triumphed in the Machinery category, while AutoPilot Field Rover, from Wirtgen, took the Machine Components section. The Construction process/Construction work category had two winners.

The recent CTT construction equipment exhibition run in Moscow was a major success according to the show organisers. This was the 17th CTT show held in Moscow and was run from May 31st to June 4th 2016. The event attracted 524 exhibitors from 26 countries, as well as 21,000 visitors from 59 countries. The organisers of the buama 2016 event have now revealed the nominations for innovation awards programme. Klaus Dittrich, Chairman & CEO of Messe München, revealed the 15 nominated companies and their innovations. The winners will be announced on the evening before bauma starts, in a ceremony at the Allerheiligen Hofkirche (Court Church of All Saints) in the Munich Residenz. Messe München is launching a new service for the off-highway equipment industry at bauma 2016, taking place from April 11th-April 19th at Munich’s exhibition centre. Called the bauma Open Innovation online platform this will allow industry professionals interested to solve innovation-related challenges. The platform will be able to call upon the expertise of Messe München’s cross-disciplinary network of contacts.
