Estonia’s TMB to fund expansion in Latvia from a loan

Estonia-based TMB (formerly Tartu Maja Betoontooted), one of the leading producers of precast reinforced concrete elements in the Baltic states, is expanding its Latvian production subsidiary. Company CEO Jaan Luts said the company’s expansion follows its forecast of strong growth in the Latvian construction market. Luts said he also expects exports of precast reinforced concrete to Sweden and Norway will remain relatively high. However, exports to Finland have dropped.

Wacker Neuson reports a strong financial performance in the second quarter of 2013, despite tough prevailing economic conditions. This represents an improvement also from the first quarter of 2013 when economic performance was weak. The weight distribution in Bobcat’s new E25 reduced tail swing (RTS) compact excavator is said to be optimised through the use of proven ‘4-plate box’ technology to reduce he weight of the workgroup, which moves the centre of gravity of the machine towards the back of the excavator. As a result, the E25 does not require any additional counterweight. This enhances the stability and ensures that the E25 model can be transported by trailer more easily.
