Topcon Positioning Group has updated the MAGNET suite of software solutions to ensure customers have the most up-to-date information available. MAGNET v3.0 includes several new and enhanced features designed to increase interconnectivity and productivity. Among the improvements are user notifications that new data is available, said Ronald Verheijen, Topcon manager of product support.

Topcon and Komatsu are gearing up their long running partnership to a new level, and which will be implemented on a global basis. Although the firms have been co-operating internationally for some years, this partnership has been particularly active in the European market for machine control technology. Topcon Europe Positioning is offering upgrades to its MAGNET software products, which have benefited from the firm’s recent tie-up with Autodesk. The MAGNET Enterprise package is a cloud service that connects the firm’s Field and Office products and provides a web-based interface to company data and new versions of MAGNET Field and MAGNET Office are available.
