Croatia road and bridge projects

China Road and Bridges Corporation (CRBC) is the main contractor for Croatia’s Peljeski road and bridge construction project. A number of local firms are in discussions regarding sub-contracts for the project. The link will cost around €264 million to construct. The Croatian firm Brodosplit is in discussions to supply the 70,000tonnes of steel required for the bridge.

    Croatia’s construction company Integral Inzinjering has submitted the lowest bid of €43 million for construction of access roads for the Peljeski bridge project. Croatian daily newspaper Vecernji List reported that seven bidsd were submitted for the 12.4km project.   • Croatia rejects complaints over Peljeski Bridge tender

    Croatia’s public procurement body has rejected complaints by all three international consortia over a winning low tender for the Peljeski bridge. Bids for construction of the four-lane 2.4km bridge were submitted in the middle of last year. The bridge will connect Croatian territory by traversing the Adriatic Sea’s Mali Ston Bay.
