Shanbao has introduced a new mobile jaw crusher it will sell in both China and emergent markets. This track-mounted machine has been designed and developed in the firm’s factory close to Shanghai. Olivia Weng, international sales director explained that the crusher can be used in an array of applications in the cement, quarrying and asphalt sectors. She said, “We developed a mobile machine as it’s more versatile than a fixed plant.”

Sandvik Construction president Thomas Schulz was keen to emphasise the firm’s growing commitment to China and gave an upbeat forecast for the health of the global construction equipment manufacturing industry over the next 12 months and beyond. Sandvik Mining and Construction has bought Shanghai Jianshe Luqiao Machinery Co (SJL), a major Chinese manufacturer of crushing and screening equipment, which sells its products under the SHANBAO brand.
