The newest addition to Ruthmann’s Height series offers flexible access in awkward situations thanks to its extended telescoping upper boom with moveable jib. Ruthmann’s Steiger T 720 truck-mounted access platform made its world debut at bauma. The model has a working height of up to 72m and maximum lateral reach of 38m. Its design means that operators still have 21.4m reach at their disposal at a working height of 68m and with a 100kg cage load.

From German firm Ruthmann comes the new Steiger T 7XX unit, which broadens its height performance access equipment series. Featuring sturdy construction, the unit is said to be both robust and durable with fine-grained steel used to maximise the performance of its telescoping boom. The design is weight-optimised, due to high-strength steel being used during fabrication. Lateral reach and working height capacities have been increased and even under heavy loads, the platform is said to be sturdy and stable. T

Olympia Odos and Aegean Motorway of Greece have received four STEIGER T 180 aerial platforms from German manufacturer Ruthmann. Both companies had previously rented STEIGER products, but decided to purchase the models to enhance their fleet of maintenance vehicles.
