EmiControls’ V22 dust suppression machine: four V22 models have just been sold to a Big Saudi Arabia quarry operator

Fresh from selling four of its V22 dust suppression machines to a big multiple quarry operator in Saudi Arabia, 5109 EmiControls is at bauma 2016 looking to expand its global distribution network.

The Bolzano, Italy-based firm is seeking new distributors in America, Russia, China, France, Portugal and South America. Whilst keen to consolidate its strong market position in Europe, EmiControls is increasingly attracting strong sales interest from other regions – such as the Middle East.

The V22 is the most powerful dust-suppression machine in EmiControls’ product range. Due to its long projection range and integrated 360° pivot function, the model is most suited to dust-control applications covering large areas.

Its patented nozzle head and the outer nozzle ring generate a finely atomised mist, which binds the dust particles and prevents them from spreading. The projection distance of the inside nozzle head can be limited to close range by switching off the turbine. A +43°angle of incline can be set with the user-friendly remote control.

As well as being ideal for quarry applications, the V22 is also suited for work at opencast mines, demolition sites, recycling plants, storage depots, loading facilities, landfill sites and woodworking shops.

“The V22 has a 70 metre dust distance throw and works at 20bar water pressure. It is also available with a submergible pump. This is how it has been set up for our client in Saudi Arabia,” said Rita Gallo, EmiControls’ sales manager.

MB Dustcontrol is launching at Intermat 2012 its new range of Dust Suppression SprayCannon units for demolition, recycling, quarrying and handling of bulk material applications. The range contains solutions to diminish the emissions of dust in both inside and outside work areas. The mechanism consists of binding dust particles with droplets of water (fog) sprayed from the SprayCannon. The water droplets weigh down the dust particles, which fall more quickly to the ground through gravity.
