GKN Land Systems has developed a high capacity hub and spindle solution for a pan scraper manufacturer looking to update its two-model range.

“The development of higher load capacity hub systems for this application led to the creation of a solution in just a few months,” he said. “We used a 425mm bolt circle pattern on a 165mm diameter heat-treated spindle, which allows a higher axle load rating – typically 25.8tonnes. With an M22 fastener, the customer can fit 29.5 R25 or 875/65 R29 wheel and tyre packages.”
