The upcoming 5930 Bauma China exhibition planned in Shanghai 2012 from the 27th-30th November is already breaking previous records for this event. The organisers of the show have booked over 2,600 exhibitors, coming from 39 countries. This is an increase of close to 40% from the previous bauma China. The International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment is taking place in the purpose-built Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). In addition to a strong showing from Chinese manufacturers, there is also an increased number of international exhibitors. The show includes eight national pavilions, from Austria, Germany, Finland, Great Britain, Italy, Korea, Spain and the US. And for the first time, there will also be a joint stand of exhibitors from Incheon City, organised by the Incheon Chamber of Commerce in Korea. According to Eugen Egetenmeir, managing director of organiser 3995 Messe München, "This statistic shows how important the Asian market still is for the global building machinery industry. We are very pleased to report that bauma China will be taking up all the available capacity at the SNIEC, even though we were not able to meet every request for more booth space."
