The first section of Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3 project in Vietnam is opening to traffic. This stretch links the interchange for the Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway with Nhon Trach Bridge. Work on the Nhon Trach Bridge is also well underway.
Financing worth $1.03 billion will be required to pay for all the works planned in Dong Nai. Construction of the Cat Lai Bridge will cost $722 million and will be carried out under the PPP model, replacing a ferry service. Also planned is a 61km highway linking Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 with Ma Da Bridge and expected to cost $673 million.
