Marrakech is to host a major IRF Regional Conference

The IRF Conference will be held in the extensive facilities of the Hotel Pullman Marrakech Palmeraie Resort & Spa in Morocco
1201 IRF Geneva will be joining with Moroccan Motorways (5199 Autoroutes du Maroc) and the Moroccan Road Association to a host a major Regional Conference focusing on the North Africa & the Mediterranean region (MENA).

The event, which benefits from support from the World Bank, the 3353 Moroccan Ministry of Equipment and Transport and 7046 ITS Arab, offers industry leaders a particularly prominent and conducive platform for stimulating business and connections in a fast developing region, rich in opportunities for the provision of sustainable road networks.

Programmed over two highly focused days (19th-20th March 2013) in the Hotel Pullman Marrakech Palmeraie Resort & Spa, the event is tailored to leading regional and international corporations, senior Government officials and key experts from multi-lateral institutions and international organisations.

It will feature plenary conference sessions on interurban road links, urban mobility and road safety as well as high-level panel discussions on road networks in the region and partnerships for the future.

A particularly dynamic feature will be the parallel organisation of two dedicated workshops respectively addressing Green Public Procurement and ITS Deployment in the MENA region.
