Indeco gets a grip on demolition

When it comes to primary demolition the quality of the equipment makes the difference between an efficient job and one beset by complications. This is where the Indeco IDC demolition jaw comes into play: a technologically advanced solution to tackle the most demanding challenges in the demolition of reinforced concrete structures.

The Indeco IDC demolition jaw offers maximum efficiency, even at great heights. The IDC primary demolition jaw was designed to work with precision and safety, even under complex conditions and on very large buildings. Its innovative design ensures an optimal balance between weight, size and power, allowing for increasingly fast and efficient interventions, even at the top of buildings.

It has continuous 360° hydraulic rotation with dual motor and protection valve for a perfect grip under all operating conditions. Interchangeable teeth with the INDECOBITE (patent pending) system simplifies and speeds up maintenance work while reducing machine downtime.

Also interchangeable are the reversible cutter blades for greater durability and long-lasting efficiency. It has wide-opening jaws which are above average for concrete demolition jaws in the same category. Long-lasting powerful cylinders, developed by Indeco, are resistant up to a pressure of 700 bar.

Piston rods have steel protection against accidental impacts and the machine body is made of ultra-strong HARDOX steel to prevent structural deformation. There is an axial-clearance-adjustment system and a dual-rotation axis for a smoother and more precise demolition.

The regeneration valve allows the jaws to be opened and closed more quickly, thus shortening work cycles and significantly increasing production. The hydraulic accumulator also decreases pressure spikes, protecting the motors and extending the machine’s working life.

The rotating distributor features special anti-dust gaskets while the centralised greasing system ensures continuous lubrication of the moving parts, thus reducing wear and tear over time.
