Work is nearing completion in Greece for work on a key stretch of the E-65 project. The northern section of E-65 is now more than 90% complete and should now be ready to carry traffic before mid-2026.
Costing €1.4 billion, the E-65 route stretches 182km. The project is being managed by the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The new route will improve transport in Central Greece and lies close to the historic Via Egnatia. The project is expected to help develop tourism in Central Greece, as well as boosting trade and transport.
